My blogging has slowed down a little over the past few weeks as I was away last week in Austin, Texas for the Noonday Collection conference. It was an amazing experience, that I'm still trying to process and I find myself thinking about it daily and remembering various things. I'm still not quite ready to talk about it. But hopefully by sometime next week I'll have my thoughts more gathered and organized.
Winter is my least favorite season. There is still beauty in it, it's just harder to find it, or to want to find it, when it's so terribly cold and dead outside. But this morning we woke up to about 5 inches of snow covering the ground and laying on the tree branches. In that kind of moment, it's harder for me to hate winter. Since it wasn't so terribly cold out, I decided to go for a solo walk in Jacobsburg Park. I can't say that I've ever done that before. It's certainly peaceful walking in the woods surrounded by snow covered trees. And I have to admit that it makes winter a tad more enjoyable.
